The Ramova is a multi use space within a restored historic movie theater encompassing an 1500+ capacity live performance venue, an independent brewery, a 200+ capacity live performance and event space, beer garden, grill, and taproom.

Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for on-stage, backstage and technical execution of concerts and events at Ramova Theatre from inception to completion


The Production Manager will support the hiring, training, development, and performance counseling of all staff within their operation. They must have a passion for music and hospitality, and the desire to lead and mentor a diverse team while setting best in class standards and providing exceptional service. Essential Functions:

- Coordination between tours and venue to determine scope and needs for event

- Advancing and obtaining all technical information, including production needs, rider requirements, staging. 

- Interface with local contractors (vendors) and tours

- Coordinate backline needs with rental houses on show by show basis. 

- Day of show management of concert and private events from load in to load out, with an emphasis on customer (artist/client) service, adherence to time schedules, sound restrictions and cost containment. 

- Coordinate and book stage hands, loaders, audio, lighting and monitor engineers. Work in tandem with local union and production companies to schedule staff as needed.

- Manage additional event requirements, pre-event functions, meet and greets, post-event functions as needed.

- Coordinate and manage approved subcontractors and third party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events.

- Liaise with all appropriate departments to ensure successful execution of each event, including settling shows as needed.

- Provide any specific talent related event details to Head Of Security, Programming and Operations. 

- Advise on adjustments to audio and video specs as needed; overseeing setup of audio visual equipment and backstage at events.

- Maintenance upkeep of house equipment, in line with regular inspections that meet industry and manufacture standards. 

- Work with the director of operations and director of programming to meet budget targets on an event basis along with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals. 


Qualifications:

- Possess strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with attention to detail/problem solving skills.

- Minimum Combination 5 plus years’ experience as Production Manager , House Manager or Lead Audio Engineer ; general knowledge of venue operations required.

- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude.

- Flexible Schedule (days/nights, late hours, weekends, and holidays)

- Implementation and execution of all Ramova Theatre’s policies, procedures and programs.

- Ability to make clear concise decisions; sometimes with limited information.

- Computer proficiency in Windows applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GSuite)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at times.
